Sapulpa is underrated, change my mind

Longtime lurker here, The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $61,644 in Sapulpa. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Atlanta about 10 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Limited entertainment options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
