What to expect moving to Sarasota?

Hey folks, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,514 for rent here. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is challenging in most areas.

I work in retail here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Good luck with whatever you decide..
