What do you all think? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in South. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in construction. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Asian.
Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Fairview area are average. Kids love it here.
