Best neighborhoods in Saratoga Springs
Anyone else feel this way? Homes are going for about $445,100 on average. Rent is about $1,439/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,542 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
Pros:

- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Sprawl everywhere
- Not very walkable
- High property taxes
- Mosquitoes and humidity
The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development.
