Considering Saratoga Springs vs Orlando -help me decide
Not sure if this has been asked before, but The median home value here is around $445,100, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,542 people. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from San Diego about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is tough.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
