First post here. I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $100,485 in Saratoga Springs. The median home value here is around $445,100, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Any advice would be great. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Charlotte it's solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Indian.
