Hey folks, I'm a 52-year-old police officer and Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Household incomes average around $115,684 in Satellite Beach. Rent is about $1,921/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Thoughts? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to.
