Grocery stores in Saugerties -recommendations?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Household incomes average around $45,213 in Saugerties. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from San Francisco about 5 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is pretty good.
