What's it really like living in Savage?

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and Crime rate is something to consider -Savage sits at 593.4 per 100K. Household incomes average around $117,353 in Savage. Homes are going for about $405,600 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.
