Dog-friendly places in Savannah?

Random thought, Been living here since 2017. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider — Savannah sits at 1,735.5 per 100K. Average temperature is around 68°F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $225,200 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Would love some local perspective. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 2 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
