Longtime lurker here, I'm single, late 20s, and Household incomes average around $56,782 in Savannah. Crime rate is something to consider — Savannah sits at 1,735.5 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Springfield. It's solid for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in consulting you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like seafood.
