Anyone else love living in Savannah?

Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

I work in hospitality here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is challenging. No regrets on my end..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Fairview area are underrated. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 15 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
