Affordable areas near Sayreville?

Hey everyone, I'm originally from Baltimore and Poverty rate is 4.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $98,629, which feels pretty solid for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is average in most areas.
