Anyone regret moving to Scaggsville?

I'm single, late 50s, and Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Active local events and festivals
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is average.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Hope this helps!.
