Working in Scanlon -salaries realistic?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Scanlon sits at 232.8 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What are your go-to spots? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in North. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in real estate. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Southern.

No regrets on my end..
