Hey folks, You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Moved here from Salt Lake City about 12 years ago. I genuinely enjoy living here. Still getting used to cost of living but Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 9 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into running, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
