Random thought, I've been here for 18 years and Household incomes average around $94,690 in Schaumburg. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Schaumburg sits at 99.4 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
