The good and bad of living in Schaumburg
Hi all, Been living here since 2013. Poverty rate is 4.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Schaumburg sits at 99.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,774/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,774 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
