Honest thoughts on life in Schertz

Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $96,633 in Schertz. Median household income is $96,633, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in retail. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
