Born and raised here. Median household income is $107,372, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider — Scottsdale sits at 159.3 per 100K. Rent is about $1,910/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 4.7%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.
