Planning a move to Seabrook Island -neighborhoods?

Hey, I'm originally from Charlotte and It's a a small town city with about 2,107 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Worth the trade-offs? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to New York it's tough.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The safety is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Baltimore it's better than expected.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The housing market is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- The community vibe scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Hope this helps!.

I work in construction here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is excellent. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.
