I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The food scene is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much pricey but now it's excellent.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've lived in Downtown for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- The traffic scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Definitely worth checking out..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The school system is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
