Raising a family in Searsport -thoughts?

Alright, I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $897/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $897 for rent here. The median home value here is around $292,100, which seems about average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Good schools
- Diverse community
- Easy commute

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Limited cultural events
- Not enough green space

The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
