Anyone else love living in SeaTac?

I'm originally from Nashville and The unemployment rate is 5.8%, which is about average. Rent is about $1,637/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $76,517 in SeaTac. With a population of 31,143, SeaTac is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Growing food scene
- Easy commute
- Lots of new development
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- Boring for young people
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Limited cultural events
Anyone in a similar situation? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I work in marketing here and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market for my field is better than expected. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 1 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
