Anyone else love living in SeaTac?
I'm originally from Nashville and The unemployment rate is 5.8%, which is about average. Rent is about $1,637/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $76,517 in SeaTac. With a population of 31,143, SeaTac is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.
Pros:
- Good job market
- Growing food scene
- Easy commute
- Lots of new development
- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- Boring for young people
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Limited cultural events

People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
