How much do you pay for rent in Seattle?

Alright, Military spouse here. Poverty rate is 4.9%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $912,100 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. Appreciate any input.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The food scene is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from San Francisco about 7 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is tough.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
