Is Seattle safe at night?

People here are friendlier than I expected coming from Cleveland.

Median income here is around which {inc_feel}. Home prices averaging is {home_feel}.

What I like:
- Strong local businesses
- Pet-friendly city
- Good farmers markets

What I don't:
- Traffic is getting worse
- Pollen season is no joke

I've never felt unsafe walking around Queen Anne at night. Downtown has improved dramatically since I first moved here.

Is this just me?

Parent of two in Magnolia. Schools are underrated here. Traffic has gotten noticeably worse in the past year.. Would recommend visiting before deciding.

Gonna share a detailed perspective since most replies are pretty surface-level.

I'm a couple in our 30s in Magnolia. Been here since 2023. The {industry} scene here is really picking up..

Neighborhood-wise, Magnolia has really grown in the past few years. Columbia City is the up-and-coming spot right now. Phinney Ridge is where I'd look if budget is a concern.

Job market for government: improving. For healthcare: quiet.

Honestly the biggest downside is {downside}.
