First post here. Rent is about $1,414/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $281,700, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Sebastian sits at 72.4 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
