Secaucus quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey everyone, I work in healthcare and Homes are going for about $557,800 on average. With a population of 21,437, Secaucus is a small town. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Low taxes
- Good healthcare facilities
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Cold winters
- Not very walkable
- High property taxes
- Mosquitoes and humidity
Would love some local perspective. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in consulting. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
