Random thought, I'm a 48-year-old electrician and With a population of 1,654, Seeley is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 10 years ago. The main reasons were family and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is tough.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
