Honest thoughts on life in Selah
OK so Crime rate is something to consider -Selah sits at 86.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,465 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 8,301 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
