How is the nightlife in Selma?

Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -Selma sits at 1,370.2 per 100K. Median household income is $32,184, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Austin about 15 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong sense of community
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I work in real estate here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is hit or miss. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
