Crime rate is something to consider -Selma sits at 340.2 per 100K. Rent is about $1,202/month for a decent place. With a population of 24,586, Selma is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
