Alright, My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 14.9%, which is around average. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a small town city with about 24,586 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Anyone in a similar situation? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from Minneapolis about 4 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Seattle about 15 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Winters are long and cold
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is average.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
