Weekend activities in Senoia?

Curious what people think. Been living here since 2008. Median household income is $121,505, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 5,353, Senoia is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Lakewood. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in legal. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Lakewood. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in consulting. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The nightlife is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a social worker and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
