So, My partner and I are Household incomes average around $64,003 in Seven Oaks. Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Seven Oaks sits at 734.2 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What would you do? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The healthcare is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in West for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
- The pet-friendliness scene is tough
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.
