First post here. Median household income is $64,003, which feels about average for the area. It's a a small town city with about 15,990 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Pine Hills area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in construction. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Bought a house here in 2019 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
