Hey folks, I'm retired and It's a a smaller city city with about 58,041 people. Rent is about $2,082/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 13 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
