What to expect moving to Severn?

Been meaning to ask this. We have two kids and Rent is about $2,082/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Severn sits at 593.4 per 100K. Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Would love some local perspective.
