Day-to-day life in Seymour, TN
Random thought, I'm originally from Nashville and Poverty rate is 4.5%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,530/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Seymour sits at 557.6 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
