Freelancing from Shadeland -experience?

Anyone else feel this way? You can expect to pay around $1,073 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

Used to live on the Midtown side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. the quality of life is solid.
