So, Been living here since 2006. It's a a small town city with about 6,890 people. You can expect to pay around $649 for rent here. With a population of 6,890, Shamokin is a small town. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Any help is appreciated. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
