So, It's a a small town city with about 6,890 people. You can expect to pay around $649 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Shamokin? TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up.
