Hello, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $147,800, which is actually reasonable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What would you do?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 3 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is surprisingly good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The public transit is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
