Anyone work in healthcare in Sheboygan?

Hello, Median household income is $62,953, which feels about average for the area. Poverty rate is 8.4%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Has anyone dealt with this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in West for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
- The cost of living scene is improving

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Winters are long and cold

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
