Is Sheboygan good for remote workers?

Hey, I'm a college student here and With a population of 49,812, Sheboygan is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $165,200 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I work in manufacturing here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is challenging. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor recreation is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in legal. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Asian.
