Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Nashville about 5 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 12 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are reasonable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
