Hello, I relocated for work and With a population of 1,325, Shelburn is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in Sunset for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons
- The traffic scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Nightlife is limited
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Good luck with whatever you decide..
