Best apartments in Shelby under ?
Been meaning to ask this. I'm a 37-year-old nurse and Household incomes average around $50,705 in Shelby. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $899/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Shelby sits at 718.2 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
