Hey folks, Military spouse here. With a population of 2,005, Shell Point is a small town. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Shell Point sits at 306.4 per 100K. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
