How is the nightlife in Shelton?

Been meaning to ask this. I work in education and Rent is about $1,661/month for a decent place. Median household income is $114,739, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've lived in West for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good healthcare facilities
- The healthcare scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Good luck with whatever you decide..
